Usually I am not a fan when big brands latch onto celebrities for their endorsements. However, this production is done well by subtly joining Jay-Z with the ABSOLUT and connecting each one’s passion behind their music/booze. Well done, ABSOLUT and Danny Clinch for teaming up to tell the Jay-Z story when he prepared for last year’s September 11 benefit concert at Madison Square Garden in the documentary fashion for this 14-minute short, than to say he drinks ABSOLUT.
For some reason I enjoy the simplicity in this piece from André F. Chocron called bars and tones. Can’t we do something more creative with all the voids in our lives like this.
Check out this TV spot for Electrabel. This amazingly well thought out and executed spot took five days of shooting, 20 animators and 1600 photos to complete.
In Radiohead’s new video for “House of Cards”, no cameras or lights were used. Instead, 3D plotting technologies collected information about the shapes and relative distances of objects. The video was created entirely with visualizations of that data.
